1% copper, 0.12 g/t gold, 2.36 g/t silver, 14.94% iron over 9.55 metres
1.05% copper, 0.14 g/t gold, 3.02 g/t silver, 13.08% iron over 33 metres
1.16% copper, 0.15 g/t gold, 3.41 g/t silver, 10.91% iron over 10.2 metres

Exploration Manager Brad Leonard commented, “We are very pleased with these results as they represent the first extensive exploration drilling conducted in decades on the Granduc’s highly prospective North Zone. High-grade copper intercepts have expanded the North Zone strike to over 600 meters, strongly indicating that the North Zone has the potential to be much larger than the current NI 43-101 inferred resource estimate.”

The Granduc Mine produced 420 million pounds copper from 1971 to 1984.

Claude reports Sask Seabee Santoy Gold Resource: 638K oz indicated and inferred

Claude Resources Inc T.CRJ announced an updated 43-101 resource estimate of the Santoy Gap Deposit at its 100%-owned Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan. At a 3 g/t gold cutoff, the indicated resource is 994,000 tonnes grading 8.8 g/t gold for 281,000 gold ounces, and the inferred resource is 1.88 million tonnes grading 5.92 g/t for 357,000 ounces.

The Seabee Gold Project comprises 14,400 hectares located 125 kilometres northeast of La Ronge. Since 1991, it has produced over one million gold ounces. Claude also owns the Madsen Gold Project property near Red Lake, Ontario, and the Amisk Gold Property in northeast Saskatchewan.

Senior VP/COO Brian Skanderbeg commented, “During 2012, we were able to effectively upgrade a significant portion of our inferred resource into the indicated category while continuing to grow the Santoy Gap Deposit. Our infill drill program demonstrated that a high grade core exists with widths of up to 20 metres. The Santoy Gap Deposit represents a great opportunity for the company due to its proximity to permitted mine infrastructure, low development cost, near-term production potential and impressive grade.”
